Limited Edition Figgy Pudding Kits now available

Hi ,

Sorry to have been out of touch for quite a while, but I've been rather poorly, having come down with Covid earlier this month....

I'm definitely over the worst now though and beginning to feel more like myself again. I have really enjoyed doing a little embroidery over these weeks, just picking up my hoop and working a few stitches when I felt well enough, and it's amazing how theraputic that felt. It's also amazing how much I managed to achieve during that time, possibly as I had to lie in bed (whenever I tried to actually do anything I started to cough uncontrollably) which meant my brain had time to come up with new ideas and designs...

Including the above projects that will be in the November Magazine published on Thursday. I think possibly my favourite is the little piglet in a blanket tree decoration...

He was huge fun, and very easy, to make! He's completely handstitched and his blanket is detachable, though he does look very snug all wrapped up and cosy. I also particularly enjoyed stitching the Figgy Pudding Hoop whilst listening to my Harry Potter audio books and have decided to offer this as a (very) limited edition kit...

It's easy to stitch and would suit a confident beginner. For me the hardest part, which I never enjoy, though I do very much like adding some sparkle to my festive designs, is stitching with metallic thread. Figgy Pudding kits are currently available in my Etsy shop along with Pear Pincushion Kits and Wheel of the Year panels.
